Unilite HL-8R headlamp

The Unilite HL-8R rechargeable headlamp offers a maximum output of 475 lumens from two SMD LEDs and also offers a large central 250 lumen SMD LED that can be used alone.

Controlling and charging the Unilite HL-8R headlamp

The HL-8R headlamp is equipped with a sensor control switch that allows you to turn the torch on and off by waving your hand in front of the diode (sensing distance is about 10cm), which is ideal for doing jobs where your hands may be dirty. There is also a regular on/off button if you don't want to use sensor controls. In order to control the light with the sensor control, you need to activate it by pressing the left button, when the red light will turn on, confirming the activation of the sensor mode with a wave. Then when you wave your hand in front of it, the light turns on/off in either high mode or spot output only, recalling the last used mode from memory using the main button. To exit the sensor output, simply press the sensor button again. The right button controls the headlamp normally and each press will cycle through spot, low intensity, medium intensity, high intensity and off. If it stays in any mode for more than 5 seconds, press it again to turn it off and the last used mode will be remembered by the headlamp, and the next time you turn on the light, that mode will be active. Thanks to the built-in 1500 mAh lithium-polymer rechargeable battery, the HL-8R has a battery life of 4 hours in the brightest mode. Charging the headlamp is quick and easy with USB Type-C charging, simply plug the cable into the bottom of the torch (with the torch off) and the other end into a 1A USB source. A red LED will light up when charging. If it glows green, it means charging is complete, which is after about 2 hours and 30 minutes.

High visibility

High visibility technology (distinct green headlamp color) means you will always be seen, which is useful when working in an industrial environment. The fully adjustable anti-slip silicone strap helps keep the headlamp head securely on your head or helmet. The tilting bracket allows the HL-8R to be set down at a 60° angle, so you can point the light source where you need it.
