The new generation S2-S40 coaxial loudspeakers with a new design and Hi-Res Audio certification represent a new standard in basic audio performance. We've packed top-of-the-line capabilities into these speakers through the use of high-performance materials and patented design elements. Constructed from a combination of polypropylene, fiberglass and mica materials, the lightweight woofer diaphragm delivers the high-output/low-distortion essential sound required for High-Res Audio performance. The Alpine S Series speakers have enlarged magnet dimensions for more power and best-in-class mid-bass performance. The High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) woofer surround brings out the best in bass by allowing maximum cone movement. The 2 cm (3/4") dome tweeter will serve up all the high frequency detail that you missed from the factory speakers. All S Series speakers have a wide range of vehicle mounting and include several adapters and spacers. Thanks to the use of in- line of crossovers, these speakers can be easily and quickly installed even in domestic conditions.
