Newly redesigned and certified for Hi-Res Audio, the next-generation 20cm (8") S Series S2-S80C component speakers offer a new standard in basic audio performance. We've packed top-notch capabilities into these speakers through the use of high-performance materials and patented design elements. Lightweight The woofer diaphragm, made from a combination of polypropylene, glass fiber and mica materials, delivers the high power / low distortion sound required for High-Res Audio performance.Alpine S Series speakers have enlarged magnet dimensions for more power and best mid-bass performance band in its category. The High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) woofer brings out the best in bass, as it allows for maximum movement of the diaphragm. The 2.5 cm (1") dome tweeter provides all the high-frequency detail that factory speakers were missing. All S Series speakers have a wide range of vehicle mounts and include several adapters and spacers. Thanks to the use of in-line crossovers, these speakers can be easily and quickly installed even in domestic conditions.
