Škoda Octavia 4 - assembly of speakers and amplifier with DSP processor

Sound upgrade in the Škoda Octavia car of the fourth generation. The basic audio system cannot satisfy any, even slightly more demanding, listener, and that's when upgrading the factory sound system comes into consideration. If you are thinking about a really significant upgrade, then there is no other option than installing a DSP processor, measuring the frequency response of the speakers and adapting the sound to the specific car. In today's installation, we will show that even a drastic shift in sound does not always have to cost around one hundred thousand CZK. In this Octavia, we replaced the factory speakers in all doors with components from the Italian manufacturer ESB Audio of the Duemila model range. They will surprise you with their very advanced sound, which even significantly more expensive speakers from competing manufacturers would not be ashamed of. And in order to get the most out of these great speakers, we installed an eight-channel amplifier with an integrated DSP processor from the Italian Audison under the driver's seat. We simply love Italy, because if there's one thing this beautiful country really does perfectly, apart from food and architecture, it's sound. Nothing else can come to the end of the installation than a thorough measurement and sound adjustment. The JL Audio Max professional measurement system with 5 microphones helps us to do this, which will allow sound measurement with a precision that could not be achieved with any other instrument on the market today. We will then set the measured results in the DSP processor program, fine-tune the sound in detail according to our preferences, and then we will have the final adjustment with our client.
