Toyota Auris - soundproofing

Sound deadening of the Toyota Yaris as part of our Standard Light sound deadening package, which is mainly focused on the light weight of the materials. The factory sound insulation of most Asian cars is among the worst, and this model from Toyota is no exception. Practically only on the floor you will find a thicker layer of factory anti-vibration material, which tries to at least in some way save the well-known deficiency of this car manufacturer in the form of thin sheets. Since there is practically no insulation in the other areas of the car, this results in significant resonances and vibrations due to the lack of body rigidity. This is manifested by increased low-frequency noise, especially from the tires through the front and rear wheel arches, but also road noise penetrating through the floor and side doors. Weak noise insulation (it is completely absent on the doors and in the luggage compartment) is not able to prevent even noise of medium and higher frequencies, therefore it is necessary to additionally soundproof the car for greater comfort. The owner wanted to add as little weight to the car as possible, so we chose our discounted Standard Light package, which focuses on the front and rear doors, floor, trunk, front and rear side skirts and hood. However, instead of the hood, the client wanted to silence the torpedo. The Standard Light package offers, in addition to high efficiency, a very low material weight, thanks to which we can meet the customer's requirements for low weight. We soundproof all areas of the car with 2 layers of materials, the first layer is the premium ultra-light anti-vibration material Comfortmat Premium Dark, and the second layer also consists of the extremely light sound- and heat-insulating material Comfortmat Vision in combination with the light membrane material Comfortmat Integra. The result is a significant reduction in noise in the interior of the car and an increase in weight by only approx. 40 kg.View products >Hide products >
