Toyota Corolla - soundproofing and new sound system

Soundproofing of the latest generation Toyota Corolla. Already the twelfth continuation of this highly successful model, and as we expected, nothing has changed in terms of factory sound insulation. Virtually zero sound insulation is manifested by significant noise from tires, water and stones in the undercarriage, wind noise at high speeds, but also the creaking of plastics due to stiffer suspension. All this reduces the driving comfort of this car and that is why its owner turned to us. After our noise reduction, vibrations from the engine, transmission or suspension, as well as air-borne noise of various frequencies from the area of the floor, front and rear wheel arches and, of course, the doors and the rear of the car will disappear. So we agreed with the customer on our improved Premium Plus soundproofing package, in which we apply top-quality Comfortmat materials mainly from the top Expert range. Thanks to this, we are able to achieve a noise reduction of more than 4.5 dB at highway speed, which means more than 2.5 times less noise in the interior than before the application of sound deadening. Specifically, we focused on the front, rear and fifth doors, the floor, the luggage compartment, the front and rear wheel arches on the side of the car and the hood. We also installed a sound system in the car. We replaced the factory speakers with sound-advanced components from the Italian manufacturer Audison, which we connected to a four-channel amplifier with a DSP processor from the same manufacturer. Using a calibrated microphone, we measured all the flaws and obstacles of a given car and precisely set the spatial correction of the equalizer for each speaker in the car. Subsequently, we set time corrections, levels, bandpasses or phases and all this to ensure the most faithful sound. Four of our technicians are working on the installation at the same time, who can complete the installation with little overtime within 1 working day.
