Sound insulation material Comfortmat Titan Lite

Comfortmat Titan Lite is a sound insulation material based on its design and properties from the most effective material on the market, Comfortmat Titan. The only difference between these materials is the reduced thickness of the anti-noise membrane from 4 mm to 3 mm. This results in a significant reduction in weight while still providing extreme sound insulation capability of up to 36 dB. Both materials therefore get their name, and Titan Lite has one first, namely the most effective sound insulation material on the market with a thickness of 7 mm. The material is composed of the already mentioned anti-noise membrane and a sound-insulating layer. An important part of the material is the improved assembly adhesive sealant, which enables an even higher adhesive effect at temperatures from -50 to +150 degrees. You can therefore apply Titan Lite even to highly embossed surfaces with the confidence that it will not come off on its own throughout the life of the car. Titan Lite is a membrane material and therefore replaces the second and third layers of soundproofing, making application easier. The material is of course absolutely waterproof and also fulfills a thermal insulation function. Thanks to its efficiency and thickness of 7 mm, the material is particularly suitable for soundproofing the floor and rear wheel arches. It is these areas that are most affected by noise, which Titan Lite can handle like no other material.

Where to apply the Comfortmat Titan Lite material

Thanks to its efficiency and thickness of 7 mm, Comfortmat Titan Lite is most often intended for soundproofing the floor and rear undercarriage. Titan Lite is applied as a second layer to the anti-vibration material (we recommend Comfortmat D4 or Comfortmat Atom ), which prevents vibrations and low-frequency noise. Thanks to its multi-layer composition with a noise-reducing membrane, it fully replaces the second and third layers of noise reduction.
