BMW 7 (F01) - complete soundproofing and new sound system

Noise reduction and sound system for the BMW 7 Series car. The client's request sounded clear and that was to make this BMW flagship as quiet as possible. The top seven series is one of the best soundproofed cars, however, as with all vehicles, it can of course be significantly better. For this installation, we also focused more thoroughly on the noise from the engine, from the large Alpina wheels and above all on the creaking of the interior. For that reason, we dismantled and completely soundproofed the dashboard, and we thoroughly soundproofed the front and rear wheel arches both from the inside and outside. We also provided all plastic parts with appropriate damping materials and tapes to prevent plastic friction as much as possible. Subsequently, we proceeded in the standard way, but with the use of the most effective materials from the top manufacturer Comfortmat. In particular, we chose our Premium Plus noise reduction package, which we individually adjusted for maximum efficiency. So we focused on all the essential areas of the car, namely the front, rear and fifth doors, the floor, the luggage compartment, the front and rear wheel arches from the inside and outside, the hood and the aforementioned dashboard. We also focused on the car's sound system from the Italian manufacturer Audison, which is exceptional not only for its high-quality sound and high performance, but also for its installation without the slightest interference with the original electrical installation. This is thanks to a sophisticated wiring system that ensures complete integration to the factory head unit without having to cut, solder or run new wiring. Audison speakers and subwoofers have the same size, shape, mounting and connectors as the factory speakers, and the whole solution is in the spirit of Plug & Play. Everything is controlled by an eight-channel digital amplifier with an Audison DSP processor, which supplies power for all speakers and subwoofers. The last stage of the installation is to measure the sound using a calibrated microphone and transfer the measurement results to the DSP processor program. Here we will set the arrangement of the speakers, time correction according to the placement of the speakers or a detailed equalizer. The result is high-quality sound tuned directly for the car in question, which in terms of quality and performance significantly surpasses even premium sound systems from Harmann Kardon.
