For this model, the manufacturer focuses mainly on the functionality and strength of the body, which is made of forty percent reinforced high-strength steel. However, the Tourneo lacks any kind of soundproofing from the factory, and there is a complete lack of both vibration and noise protection. We don't often encounter such a condition, and cars usually have at least some insulation. This deficiency is manifested by the relatively high noise level of this car, where the biggest problems are caused by the low-frequency hum of the tires, noise from the road and the engine, aerodynamic noise, but also the vibration of the body on bumps. As part of our most effective soundproofing package, Expert Plus, we have soundproofed the front, rear and fifth doors, the floor, the luggage compartment including the rear fenders, the bonnet, the front fenders and also the roof. We soundproofed all the main areas of the car with Comfortmat membrane materials, which currently represent the most effective way to soundproof a car. Comfortmat materials also have a thermal insulation function, which you can use both in winter and in summer. We also focused on the sound system of this car, and not just any. Due to the demanding nature of the client, we couldn't even consider speakers other than Morel. Specifically, we chose hi-end component speakers from the second highest model series, Elate Titanium, which will literally amaze you with their almost perfectly faithful sound reproduction. By right, these speakers are considered to be among the best in the world, and in order to fully show what they can do, it is necessary to complement them with other components of similar quality. And choosing a suitable amplifier is not an easy task, because Elate Titanium are extremely demanding not only on high performance, but also on the quality of the amplifier. Small modern digital amplifiers do not reach such qualities as the classic "A" and therefore the choice fell on a 4-channel amplifier from the Italian workshop by Mosconi, which at one time won an award from the prestigious organization EISA as the best quality amplifier in the world in its category. We used all 4 channels for the active connection of mid-bass and tweeters, and everything is controlled by the Audison DSP processor. We set crossovers, filters, time corrections, steepness and a detailed equalizer on it. To complement the sound in the rear, we installed coaxial speakers from the same manufacturer in the ceiling. The result of the installation is not only top-notch sound, but also a quiet car with incomparably higher driving comfort.
