Volkswagen T7 - noise reduction and new audio system (Harman Kardon replacement)

Sound system and soundproofing of the Volkswagen T7 car. The latest generation of this traditional utility vehicle is full of design and construction changes. The T7 deviates from classic vans and is much closer to passenger cars, or family MPV. A new design with improved aerodynamics, improved handling led by a new chassis, a practical and premium-looking interior, the latest infotainment and plenty of modern technology are among the many improvements over the previous generation. And what has changed inside? In the quality of the factory sound system and the effectiveness of sound insulation, everything remains the same without any surprises. It should be noted, however, that a number of especially structural innovations made our work more demanding and, for example, in terms of noise reduction, it was the most time- and technically complex installation we have ever done. This is mainly due to the bolted floor, due to which the complete cover of the lower part of the car must be dismantled. But from then on, we are here to deal with every challenge and conjure up a T7 premium vehicle that will be a pleasure to travel with. So we completely soundproofed the car according to our Premium package and could thoroughly focus on upgrading the Harman Kardon factory sound system. The basis of our new solution is the top-quality Morel three-band system, which stands out not only for its refined sound, but also for its high performance. The performance of the entire sound system will be taken care of by a trio of amplifiers from the American manufacturer Zapco, namely an analog 6-channel class AB amplifier for the three-band speaker system and two class D monoblocks for the front and rear JL Audio subwoofers. Perhaps the most important thing comes at the end of the installation. Sound measurement with a calibrated microphone, which will allow, after professional adjustment, to adapt the sound not only to the listener, but above all to this particular car with all the obstacles of this imperfect environment for sound. So we will set the measured results in the software of the advanced Helix Pro series DSP processor, fine-tune the sound in detail according to our preferences, and then we will have the final adjustment with the client. The result is audiophile sound with precise settings and a full frequency range that will satisfy even the most demanding listeners.View products >Hide products >
